Terms and Conditions

Appointments

Patients are encouraged to attend appointments on time and notify the practice if they are unable to attend.

Late arrival may reduce available treatment time and may require rescheduling.

Cancellations and Non-Attendance

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, missed appointments, or failure to attend may incur a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the scheduled consultation fee.

The practice may waive cancellation fees at its discretion in exceptional circumstances.

Fees and Payment

Fees are payable at the time of consultation unless alternative arrangements have been approved.

Patients remain responsible for payment of all fees regardless of reimbursement from Medicare, private health insurers, WorkCover, motor vehicle insurers, NDIS, employers, or other third parties.

The practice reserves the right to update fees from time to time.

Outstanding Accounts

Accounts not paid when due may be subject to follow-up action.

The practice reserves the right to suspend future appointments until outstanding accounts have been settled.

Patients may be responsible for reasonable costs associated with recovery of overdue amounts where permitted by law.

Communication

The practice may communicate with patients by telephone, SMS, email, post, or other electronic means regarding appointments, treatment, accounts, and practice administration.

Patients are responsible for ensuring their contact details remain current.

Clinical Information

Patients agree to provide accurate and complete information relevant to their treatment.

The practice relies on information provided by patients to assist in delivering safe and effective care.

Referrals and Reports

Where clinically appropriate and with patient consent where required, the physiotherapist may communicate with referring practitioners and other healthcare providers involved in the patient's care.

Professional reports, letters, and forms requested outside standard consultations may attract additional fees.

Telehealth Services

Where telehealth services are provided, patients acknowledge that telehealth has limitations compared with face-to-face assessment and treatment.

Patients may be advised to attend an in-person consultation where clinically necessary.

Privacy

Patient information is managed in accordance with the Practice Privacy Policy.
